My friend swears by the 'ionic foot bath'. They even purchased one for 1,500 dollars. They 'read' the color of the liquid and evaluate the 'scum' that floats after a foot bath 'treatment'. To experiment I put 2 separated stainless steel plates in a plastic pail added the 12 volts Direct Current and a bit of salt. Walaaa... bubbles ..brown water.. and scum.. NO FEET however. This setup will produce the exact color results feet or no feet. I figure I can find a buyer for this. I can make it for 20 bucks including a power supply. Gosh... I am never again going to underestimate the buying public. Oh..a cute little brochure and 'fact sheet' should help swing a sale or two. I am going to give a bath alright.. To someones wallet. Hehehe... Do you believe? Comments?

I had an extended abdominoplasty and hernia repair that required 1608 internal stitches 4 weeks ago. At that time the surgeon put a surgical drain in place. He explained he expected to remove it in 7-9 days. It has now been 4 weeks. If removed too soon, I am told that it could be necessary for needle excision of coninued fluid buildup. What, if anything can I do to help this process along so the fluid buildup ceases.

I've been on accutane for 1.5 months (first 20 mg/day, now 40 mg/day) and of course my skin is real dry....I'm able to deal with the dry face and lips, but lately I'm getting this like dry bumpy red rash all down my arms, a bit on my chest and hands.
Has anyone else experienced this while on accutane and have you gotten any certain creams to treat it?

btw, its spreading slowly, so any fast treatments are appreciated

I've just read the yahoo news article on health hazards TV can cause. If you havn't read it here's part of it:

:: Early childhood television viewing may be a trigger for autism.
:: Permanent eyesight damage has been strongly linked to TV watching.
:: Viewing TV may be a bigger factor in causing obesity than diet or exercise.
:: The risk of developing Alzheimer's disease increases with each extra daily hour of television viewing among people aged 20 to 60.
:: TV viewing is associated with irregular sleeping patterns among infants and toddlers.
:: Watching television significantly increases the risk of developing type 2 diabetes.

After reading this I was shocked. Surely not all of this can be true. Watching too much TV can cause irregular sleeping patterns, can cause eye cancer and can also, through lack of excercise, lead to obesity but I don't see how it can also trigger autism, increase the risk of developing Alzheimer's disease and type 2 diabetes.

Any answers?
