I recently spent 2 weeks thinking I was going to die of cancer because a dr. scared the daylights out of me. Abnormal ct scan of my lungs, may be just a booger... blah blah blah. I guess I'm not out of the woods yet, but statistically it's a ball of mucus and not a tumor in my lungs. I have to go back every 3 months for 2 years to confirm that this thing is nothing.

Anyway, I'm totally healthy, good weight, eat right, exercise, etc. Why do dr's have to scare the daylights out of you like that?

I am originally from Indiana and back home we have the local Board of Health, that gives children their immunizations for free. I was just wondering if there was anything like that in California, and if so what is it called and how do I locate it?

I have gone to this masseuse about 4 different times.
I had never felt uncomfortable before but the last time he massaged (SUPER CLOSE)actually you couldn't get any closer between my inner thigh and girlie area...he mentioned while he was doing it there was a major pressure point right there...he always seems very proffesional but then he asked a question before...he asked if my butt was real or an implant (it's real)
this time when he did the thigh thing,I squirmed and he said (again in a professional sounding voice) are you squirming because I am arousing you? it's ok if you are aroused,it happens all the time...but I wasn't aroused just uncomfortable...am I wrong??

Both my ears are clogged so I can hardly hear. I can't pop them and my doctor gave me an antibiotic to take. But it's been 10 days now, and no luck. Any suggestions?

It has been reported that holding a mobile to your ear whilst walking can cause serious back injury, add that to the supposed danger to the brain. Almost everyone owns a mobile phone. What affect do you think it will have on the human race in future generations?

I want to be a nurse, but I faint at the sight of blood and gore. I know, it sounds odd that I would want to be a nurse anyhow, but I just do! So, is there any special course or treatment or something that could help me to lose my squeamishness?

hi! i am a brand new rn in mn. i graduated in may, started working at the end of june, and came off of my orientation at the end of august. i have only been on my own for a few weeks, but i am intimidated, scared, and overwhelmed. i work with great nurses who answer my questions, but it doesn't change that i am so overwhelmed...how long will it take me to feel more comforatble? what can i do to help? what other nursing positions are appropriate for new grads that involve lots of patient contact with low acuity and stress? is that even possible?
