Im really not sure, my trouble is I lay on my arms in my sleep and the sensation of my circulation being cut off wakes me up in a real panic. Each time I am convinced I have lost my arm because I can't feel it at all, really scarey!! Then I have to shake it up and down to "resucitate" it and get bad pins and needles. Does not answer yur question tho - soz!

Don't really know but I do know that if you take a quinine tablet each night that stops them. You can get them from your doctor. Also I would like to know why always at night.

I think its because your legs are further from your heart and it has something to do with blood flow. Of course i could be talking out of my lower orifice and be completely wrong! sounds good tho!!!

Because,I think that he doesn't sleep well.Actually in his sleep his legs are not in the right possition!You can also ask a neurologist!
