I have had the same prescription since high school. I would like to upgrade my glasses to newer frames. Everytime I go to LensCrafters to change my lenses/frames, they say I would need to get a check up every 2 years or I cannot purchase new frames/lenses. In LensCrafters computer system, they have a record of my prescription. Why do I still need to get a doctor's appointment to obtain the same prescription to purchase new lense/frames? Any ideas????

I woke up this morning with a weird feeling in my head and I was seeing these crazy black blotches in front of my eyes. Now this has turned into a dizzy type headache and my neck hurts and is stiff also. My head feels full like its gonna blow up and my jaws hurt and behind my eyes hurt and behind my nose too. I know this is crazy huh? But my friend said its a type of migraine and my cousin and mom think its a sinus infection??!?!?

I work in a call center so I talk for about 9 hours a day. Lately my voice has been very scratchy.. is there anything specific i can take or do? Also I've noticed more flem too. (gross I know). Thank you!

I have been told that I am mildly depressed.... but I am wandering if there is more to it? When things are even slightly different, I find that I have an overwhelming urge to run and hide. Wandering if this feeling is the depression, or if there is something else envolved?

We've consulted an MD but was told to do what we've already been doing (i.e. gatorade, rest, crackers, etc.) Just wondering if some experienced parents have any good home remedies for a 20 month old toddler who can't keep anything down. I just feel so bad for my little guy and want to help him feel better. If you know of something that has worked for you please share... any help is much appreciated. Thanks.

Fms runs in my family so I am concerned about that.

Constantly take deep breaths in (like they want you to do at the doctor). Seems like every few breaths, in just everyday activities. Is there a reason for this? Any harm in this? I really feel like I can't help it.

My doctor prescribed Fioricet to me for my migraines. My Rx says that I can take 2 tablets - 4 times a day. Are there any known long term side effects from using this drug? I take them pretty regularly.

i got a chunk taken out of my neck.
and the doctor put in stiches.
i am covering with a band-aid. and using neosporin.
should i use an ice pack? no?
should i take off the band-aid, and let the air get to it?

I have been getting these headaches that have all the signs of being migraines except the nausua. nothing helps I have taken over the counter medicine, prescription migraine medicine, and even pain killers like Hydrocodone and Vicadin. Nothing helps.

I had a bad experience trying to get glass lenses for my eyeglasses, when I realized that most eyewear use plastic. Just because I'm pissed, it should now be called "eyeplastics".
