2 days ago I was loading the dishwasher and I poked a fork underneath my thumbnail on the side. I have a slightly infected thumb now. No drainage, but at the side of the nail the skin has puffed up and it's red. It hurts a lot if it's bumped. Will it harm it if I soaked my thumb in warm salt water? or should I do something else?

ITS NOTHING SERIOUS BUT THE PAIN IS KILLING ME. I JUST GOT BURNED WITH A HOT HOT PLATE FROM THE MICROWAVE. NORMALLY THE PAIN WOULD GO AWAY BUT THIS TIME IT IS BURNING LIKE HELL. IT HURTS SOOO MUCH. PLEASE TELL ME A HOME REMEDY FOR IT. ITS A FIRST DEGREE BURN.

I need help, fast quick and now. I diced about 50 jalipinios yesterday, and some of the juices got on my ingers. it didnt start burning till about an hour later, but i had washed my hands several times. its still burning and the only thing that seems to help is ice packs, i have washed several more times, but i cant seem to get it to go away, and it BURNS! help!

I work retail, some creepy old guy with long fingernails cut me (and actually drew a little blood) when I was giving him his change.

Ive had my nose pierced a month ago & apparantly it has become red n is swelling up...i was told to put some medicine for 5 weeks but even that has not work

for the past three nights I have gotten a nosebleed and a little bit of blood in my mouth. First of all, I rarely get nosebleeds.
Could the blood in my mouth be from my nose? it seems to be bleeding from deep inside. These only last for a few minutes
