Use nail clippers to clip a small hole at the surface. This is much better than jabbing a needle in there. If the splinter is not too far in, apply Elmers glue and wait a day. When you peel off the glue the next day, the splinter may come out. If not, squeeze the area until it it sticking out a little bit. Then, tweeze.

Take a needle from your sewing kit. Sterilize it with rubbing alcohol and insert the needle where the splinter is. You can try to fish it out. If not successful ask your parents to fish it out for you.
