I work retail, some creepy old guy with long fingernails cut me (and actually drew a little blood) when I was giving him his change.

I washed it immediately with hand cleaner, stung like crazy and it's still a little tender.

You did the right thing, honey! Handeling money is bad enough without adding a fingernail cut. Just keep an eye on the area for signs and symptoms of infection: increased reddness, skin area hot, draining. Otherwise, just keep it clean with soap and water and a dry bandaid. If I were you, I'd use that gel often during the day and wash my hands thoroughly on my breaks just to keep the bacteria down. Godloveya!

Wash with mild soap and water daily, keep it covered with a band-aid.

Soaking a wound in a warm salt solution twice a day can be a good idea, if it appears red and swollen. But don't make the solution too strong, and don't use strong soaps or peroxide on a wound once it starts healing. That will only kill the "baby" cells that are growing. Salt solution should be 1 tsp salt added to 2 cups of very warm water.

Don't worry about it.
Treat the cut as you would any other, and you might want to use some hydrogen peroxide on it. You should see a slight "bubbling effect" around the cut from the hydrogen peroxide (that means the "scrubbing bubbles" are HARD at work).

Beyond that, watch out for those fingernails :-p

Just make sure you keep the wound clean and dry using a bandage that you change frequently. If it starts to get red and more tender, go see a doctor.

even though while you at the instant are not at the instant slicing, the underlying subjects are what's crucial and that they might desire to be addressed. Your psychological wellbeing is the two important on your actual wellbeing. I strongly motivate you to speak to somebody you have confidence, or on your standard medical professional. Or once you're waiting to, you will come across a psychological wellbeing professional your self.

Take care of it like you would any cut.

And, I'd make sure to fill out some kind of documentation at work. This is a work-related injury, and if there are complications, workman's comp should cover them.

Well being in the medical profession, if it starts to get redness or swelling around it than you should seek medical attention, could be infected. Hopefully nothing else could be wrong, good luck let me know.

You should be fine, but I suggest a good soak in a strong solution of salt and hot water if it starts to look infected. 2 tablespoons of salt to 1 cup of water should do just fine.
