Nope - not unless he swallows it. If that's the case, call 1-800-222-1222 in the US for Poison Control. My sister and I used to break them all the time on purpose, so no harm there. Good luck!

AND YES, THIS WILL MAKE YOUR CHILD VERY SICK AND CAN CAUSE DEATH IF INGESTED.

I don't think that he would get sick unless he digests it. I don't thinks its a good idea to give him a glow stick if you think that he might not use it properly. Look on the label that will tell you your question.

If he swallows it, yes. They also have glass in them, so if he cuts one open, you have to watch for the broken glass (that's what makes the snapping sound when you first activate it). He could cut himself pretty badly.
