You may have really sensitive skin or a mild allergy. I would call you physican and just ask. If it gets worse don't over the counter it.

You wrote that JaLapenos, blistered your fingers, when you cut fifty of them? When you cut hot peppers it usually starts to burn right away, it does not burn after an hour. You also say that you wahed your hands plenty of times and it still burns,My guess is that you already had cuticle cuts on your fingers and that is the reason it still burns, because the burning should have stopped right after you washed your hands three times in a row. Why don't you put some burn ointment on your fingers to aliviate the burning sensation. I am always cutting hot peppers when we have a cookout and I never have felt any burning sensation on my fingers, of course if I touch my eye by mistake that usually starts a burning sensation, Big Time. It feels like your eye is on fire.

I'm sorry to tell you this, but the oil has already been absorbed into your skin and there's really nothing you can do about it other than to wait it out. I did something similar the night before my wedding. Just make sure next time that you wear gloves when handling jalapenos. Sorry.
