unfortunately, i suffer with mild adult acne. in order to control my breakouts i use a skin care line called obaji, and on ocassion i take an oral antibiotic called minocyclin. when i take the antibiotic in phases it seems to work well. however, my skin begins to grow a tolerance and i am left having to find another source to shock my skin again. so, i often turn to retin-a. the only thing with retin-a is that it doesnt allow u to be in the sun very much. so i was wondering if i just used the it once or twice a week vs every day, would it still be as effective and solve the issue of not being able to enjoy some occasional sun?

She wears sweatbands all the time (4-6 hrs a day) and sometimes complains about itching and flaking. Do sweatbands cause any kind of itching? Any particular brand you recommend?

A few months ago, I started to get a small patch of dry skin on my elbow. I thought nothing of it, and figured it was no big deal. It has now become a one inch by one inch patch of rough cracked skin, and I finally put some lotion on it(Gold Bond Triple Action). I also noticed a patch of dry skinabout 3 inches up my arm from the elbow, on my forearm, but like the other one started, it is very small. I don't do doctors and hospitals, and I know that's probably dumb, but I just don't think it's a big deal. Anyone know what this might be, and how I can treat it? Also it was a little sensetive to the cream I put on last night. I don't know if that's important, but figured I'd share. Thank you for any help you may have.

The pores on my face are extremely huge even though I wash my face everyday. Could it have something to do with having very oily skin? What can I do to minimize their appearence without having to buy makeup?

I had asked a question similar to this before but I was just wondering if anyone had ever gotten laser treaments to clear away acne scarring? I was first recommended to get this by some facial person but then when I went to my dermatologist he recommended it too. He did say though that it could take severval treaments and for up to 5 days your face can be purpley and red....doesnt sound too great for me but i really want these scars to go away. Anyone know anything about this?
