I went tanning today around 3:30 and at about ten this evening my back started itching and i have spots all over it...is it possible that i got sun poisoning from my tanning bed?!?!?!?

It's called a sunburn from being in the tanning bed to long. Actually you can get skin cancer from tanning beds.

yes it is possible.. that you could get skin cancer, from a tanning bed.. But the good news is.. that this usually takes about 10 years to develop. So don't start worrying about that for awhile!! just have fun. Thats funny that you called it "sun poisoning" though... lol thats hilarious!!

yeah, tanning beds are actually 25% worse than the sun.

Tanning beds contribute to wrinkly, leather skin, skin cancer, skin disease, and other skin problems. It is very possible that you will suffer some kind of skin issue, especially for those that burn easily.

not poisoning but rather the bed wasn't cleaned properly... also if you skin got burned and irritated it could be a reaction to tanning

What you have is sunburn. Just like overexposure to the sun, you can get skin cancers of various types.

you could have a reaction if your taking any kind of medicine.. its very important to know because it can have bad effects. you can get burned but not "poisoning" or they didnt clean it well and you caught something
