processed foods and milk are common to cause this problems. You should talk to your local dr and have an allergy assessment. I think traditional assessments cost about $40-70 and are pretty inclusive.

Yes you could have a food allergy. I get hives and welts from eating strawberry candy, and several other processed foods b/c I have an allergy to red 40, artificial strawberry flavoring, and excessive amounts of sulfur (used to preserve processed foods). Monitor what you eat and when you react to see if a pattern emerges.

Yes, you can, you are probably allergic to a certain type of food, note what you eat, and when the hives break out. It may be that you need to go to a allergist for this .
