i had a breast reduction aprox 3 months ago and have been left with this mark at top of my stomach. it is slightly raised and pinky but when i touch it hard it feels like nothing????

Hi. okay so since its the winter time, my face gets really chapped and gross. i exfoliate twice a week and i've tried a dozen lotions too but when i put make up on, my face looks gross. im not too sure what else to do. can you help?

I was born Neurofibromatosis Type 1 and I have pain, numbness and pins and needles with it. Does anyone out there have the same illness as me? If so, how are progressing and what are you doing about treatment?

i am 13 years old and when i was six i got strep throat which lead to psoriasis...then summer of 2006 i got strep again and got psoriasis again...but now i had a sinus infection like a month and a half ago and was taking ammoxicillin for it and it went away soon after...now a month and a half later i'm breaking out in what appears to be psoriasis, but on my neck only. any tips? and if it is psoriasis, how can i prevent it from spreading any further? i'm halfway through the school year and i dont want to get it any worse.

Okay, it turns out that I have "wet" eczema, but right now I have it on my breasts, and it's just horrible. I was wondering if anyone had any solution to it? I've been putting Lanacane on it (which has been helping other areas of my skin), but it's taking forever for it to heal on my breasts. Anyone have any idea for lotions or creams or ways just to help it out? Thanks.

I have a patch of dry skin inside the top part of my ear. I've had it for years, and it will not heal! I pick the dry skin off every day just so people don't see it sticking out of my ear, but I have gone weeks without picking it to see if it would heal and it still wouldn't. I've tried mousturizers and even cortizone cream, but none has worked. Any ideas what I might try or what this could be?

i see spots in my vision like when you look on the tv well i see then clear at night and its hard for me to see and it suxz it some times scares me like i'm going to go blind but i try not to worry about it does anyone relate? i have one floater in my left eye but other that its those spots that bug me

resist scratching, but even if I can for a week I subconsciously do it in my sleep. I've been putting neosporin on bandaids but it only provides temporary relief and the bandaids have ripped off skin around my nipple and then the same yellow stuff comes out of them. My right one doesn't get infected as much but half of it has these bumps that come and go. I would appreciate any advice on what this is and how to deal with it. Thanks.

I am a medium toned african-american. my face is a little darker than the rest of my body, I believe my face is adrker because it is more exposed to the sun?

If I use sunscreen, will it just prevent it from getting darker or will it actually get rid of my sun tan/darkening?

Dear all,

I have recently started getting little bumps on my cheeks and forehead and not sure why? I went to my doctor and she changed my pill to Yasmin as she said there were good results for the skin with this pill. I have been on it for going on 2 weeks and my skin has irrupted and now instead of just little bumps I have loads of proper spots on my chin and jawline. Very upsetting...

Any comments or thoughts? Has anyone had the same effect with this pill?

My 10 month old baby has terrible eczema. At the moment his hands are infected and his prescribed treatments are not working. So far hes had Hydrocortisones, fucidic cream, antibiotics and zinc bandages. His sores are so bad that the bandages are sticking to them and when removing them the skin is being torn off which then bleeds for a few minutes. Hes in a lot of pain when I remove the bandages so Ive stopped them for now. Ive already seen the doctor on several occasions and everything he prescribes fails. I need help....i don't know what else to do and would love advice on people in similar situations. On top of that my 5 year old has gastroenteritis (sp) and glue ear which is infected so you can probably tell I need some relief for one of them!

Since the last 2 weeks, ive been itching my neck, my inside arms, my thighs, my inside knee, and my lips have become very dry. I'm not allergic to anything. And it's been a struggle to stop itching at night. Ive been using Aveeno ' itch soothing cream ' (the blue one), and it doesnt seem to work. What else can i use that will definetly heal my itch and dry skin, and what has caused this?

I have very mild acne - mostly lackheads on my nose and chin. I use Benzaclin in the morning and Retin-a at night and I also take an Anti-Biotic. I have been on everything for about 2 months now - however, my face doesn't seem to be getting clearer or anything and it is still oilly - any suggestions or has anyone else encountered this problem?

my dermatologist prescribed to me for my acne to fight the infection that is causing it. i have some red ones that on the side of my face actually on both sides...how long does it take to see results....anyone have good results with this? i am also on retin a during the day.

They sometimes itch or they just hurt. If I squeeze them a little white thing would come out and the hair inside would be all curled up. Is it like a parasite or something?

I'm 23 and have blackheads on my forehead, cheeks and especially my nose. A beauty therapist told me that I will have blackheads all my life because I have naturally open pores and it's got nothing to do with my age. Is she right?
I have tried many different products over the years and the one that I have found to be the best (so I am currently using it now) only improves my skin but the blackheads are still there.
When I manage to get a blackhead out I can see a perfectly clear pore but later the same day, that pore is filled back up again. Sorry if this description grosses you out.
I am so desperate to get rid of them and money is (to an extent) not a problem.
If not get rid of them, is there a foundation or something that can hide them?
