I used to be on some medications for my acne. My Dermatologist had me take a pill and also a cream that I would apply to my face. I remember the pill made me very susceptible to burn out in the sun and the cream made my face dry out really bad. I have been using Proactive for about a year and 1/2 and I love it. I really don't have any breakout any more (unless I am on my cycle) and it help get rid of any scaring that I had from the past. It is a lot less expensive too. I would suggest trying that. I used to never have people ask me what kind of skin care I used because I didn't have the greatest completion. but now people ask me all the time.

How old are you?
What do you mean by "I am am also on retin a during the day"??? Retinoids are not applied during day time generally.
Erythromycin is an antibiotic. It is prescribed to reduce the infection inside your acne. It should take 1 to 3 weeks to see results. Be patient.
