I've been using this scar cream medicine called diffrengel. It's been making me peel like a snake!? It's really bad, where it's peeling off my skin to where it's red and raw!? Is that normal? If so what should I do, 'cause my skin burns!?

I have these tiny bumps on my left leg that are red and itchy. I would say maybe it was "ingrown hairs" from shaving (3 days ago), but there are none on my right leg. I've heard women often get leg warts from shaving though. GOD I hope that's not what these are... but what would those look like?

I have used a tar shampoo and I smell like a labrador! Do you know of anything more pleasant. I think it could be psoriasis of the scalp.

I get recurring sores inside my nostrals, they can be very painful and last for about a week at a time. I don't know what is causing them or what I can do to prevent them from coming back. They always come in the same spots every time, the innermost sides of my nose. They can crack and bleed at times. There can be about a month or so between them. Any ideas?

My daughter has very dry skin - especially on her hands. She is only 10 yrs old and with the somewhat extreme winter weather we have been having - that doesn't help. Obviously she uses lotions but, they are not doing the trick. Can anyone recommend a product that is effective and won't make her little hands sting so much?

Thanks in advance and
Happy Valentine's Day!

All through my teenage years, I had really oily skin on my forehead etc. (t-zone) and normal skin on my cheeks. Since I turned 20, my skin's been getting more and more dry - has this happened to anyone else? It's strange cos I never had to moisturize much, and now I even use night cream! Is this normal?

I have rosacea controlled through diet, but whats left is a red puffy nose. It used to be a cute skinny nose but the skin is raw, scaly, and gets infected easily. Any solutions out there, medical, homeopathic or otherwise?

What reduces the appearance of scars? Also, is there anything to do to lighten the color of them? They are fairly new, so they look red-ish. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have tried some prescription meds but they make my face really red and falky. I thought about trying proactive but that is alot of money to spend and then have it not work. Currently I use the Clinique 3 step program twice a day, but it is just to maintain the condition of your face and not for acne. I mostly avoid caffiene and chocolate, and my life has a little stree but it is not overwhelming. I am not sure what is causing the outbreaks. I also use clinique make-up to help prevent future outbreaks. Some of the acne I get turn to black spots and take forever to go away.

Two years ago I had (what I thought was) a small whitehead on my neck (middle of my neck, just to the left of the Adam's Apple). I left it alone but noticed that as the "whitehead" was healing, I started getting a lump underneath the skin. This lump has gradually gotten bigger and is now about the size of a small pea. It's completely under the skin, I don't see a pore for possible extraction, and it's "connected" to something underneath the skin because I can't stretch or pull the skin away from the lump and the lump doesn't move. I saw a dermatologist about six months ago and he told me it was nothing...yet now it's getting bigger and it's actually protruding and noticable on my neck. It's not painful...it's just ugly and annoying when I touch my neck. I'm wondering what kind of doctor should I see about this? I'm not sure if a dermatologist is the right professional since the lump is "connected" and underneath the skin?

I have seborrheic dermatitis which affects my forehead, scalp, eyebrows, cheeks, chin, eyelids, ears and my neck. I am currently using Head and Shoulders to treat this condition with limited success. Can you let me know what OTC products (i.e emollients, facial exfolliates, or creams) can be bought in the UK market. I personally think that hardly any product exist for this condition in the UK market, as most emollients tends to be too greasy for my face (even aqueous cream). Please help me.

It is on my face by my mouth. Freezing never worked, neither did duct tape which did work for the warts on my hand which I had 2 of. Do you think it will grow back? I used a razor blade and carved it off and out. Looks good now but just dont want it to grow back.
