No, Athlete's foot is caused by a bacteria that lives in warm humid places like shower stalls, saunas, and around pools. If you have cracks or open wounds on your feet, you are more lieky to get the fungus if you walk barefoot in these areas as other people who have it have walked there. Always wear a pair af sandals or flip flops when walking in these places to prevent getting athletes foot.

If your favourite color is yellow and you wear no other coloured socks, I'm afraid athelete's foot is caused by an infection and it has nothing to do with the color of the socks, yellow or otherwiswe.

eewwww. if your talking about dirty, sweaty socks then yes it can add to the problem, if they are just stained and have been cleaned then no.. Dirt and sweat can cause athletes foot.. wash your socks and feet daily. never wear dirty socks, this is a big cuase of athletes foot..

athlete's foot isn't caused by dirt or infection, people!!
it's a fungus. it like dirt and sweat for obvious reasons (helps it breed), but a good antifungal cream and good foot hygiene should get rid of it.

don't be daft, just wash your feet and make sure u dry them properly use talc um powder between your toes to soak up any moisture/ sweat
