I've always heard putting Preparation H on a pimple would reduce the swelling and redness quickly. When I was a teen, my dermatologist prescribed prednisone for a short term quick fix. Also took it before my wedding. I had to watch how much I ate, but it did the trick.

When I had acne I used australian body care face wash this contains tea tree oil, ketsugo gel this is excellent on acne. I used the ketsugo twice a day and when it went i just used it three times a week, I used prolagene gel by decleor to prevent and heal scarring. I now use this as my moisturiser. You could also try frederm gel on indivual spots Good luck. Please ensure you do not use any harsh drying products as this dries out the skin and you end up producing more oil from your sebaceous glands, hence more spots.

Wash your face twice a day and don't pick at your face. You can also buy pro active or other acne stuff and it will help. Pretty much soap will do the trick. Good luck!
