This is what should happen when they cauterize something. It forms a scab and then falls off. So long as it isn't open just leave it open to the air and leave it alone. If you think it needs to be covered then use a bandaid.

Scabs are supposed to fall off - what is your concern?
BTW it is cauterized.

If it was a black coloured one,it should not have been burnt,anyway,I hope you will have no problem.
