Diet is pretty important to help with acne but there is not one wonder food - if there was i'd be eating lots of it.

Increase the amount of water you drink, aim for 7 pints a day which will flush your skin of toxins. If you struggle drinking water, try fresh fruit juices.
Eat lots of fruit, can be fresh, tinned or dried.
Eat lots of veg. Natural foods like this contain vits and mins good for the skin.
Avoid fatty foods, like fast food, cheese, milk etc

Also, its not a food but take supplements. Try Zinc, Vitamin B and E. Or go to Holland and Barrett (they are online too) and get their Skin, Hair and Nails Supplement.

This is a long term thing though and don't stop doing all this when your spots clear up (which they will)
Best of luck.

This site will give you lots of good advice on diet & nutrition, vitamins etc plus natural & herbal creams, it's a gem a site for alternatives on a range of ailments. Please type in acne in search.
They mention eating bananas, a probitioc supplment, & also avoiding saturated fats (eg dairy & red meat). Also calcium rich diet is important (but not from dairy) but from sources such as green leafy vegetables, broccoli, tofu and shellfish. Also vitamin A helps maintain normal skin functioning and dietary sources include all the yellow fruits and vegetables, unpolluted fish oils and, of course, carrots & Zinc can also help and works with vitamin A to enhance it’s absorption from pecan nuts, peanuts, shellfish, turkey and wheatgerm.

There is no food that will make a significance difference. Acne isn't caused by diet and won't be cured by it. Just eat a balanced diet and continue the water. Keep your skin clean and use OTC acne products or Proactiv, which has had good results. If your acne is one of the more severe forms, speak to your doctor or dermatologist about antibiotic therapy or Acutane.

You said it...water. The more water you drink, the more you flush toxins out of your system. Eat as healthy as possible, too. I don't think it's one wonder food, it's eating thngs that aren't full of preservatives and bad fats. Fruits, lean meats, veggies without lots of sauces and butter, etc.
