Skin Conditions - February 2007

im 16 and i have shingles. it paind then rashd and lucky i got to the doctor the day the rash appeard and was prescribd med. the rash might have turned into blisters but im not to sure but it hasnt oozed at all and it seems to turn all brown. i thin that it's scabbing over but im not sure... any opinions r xcept since im not quite that smart.

If you cliked this u know what it is. How do I get rid of it? I have been putting on creme but it won't go away. If I put on the creme for say 2 day and stop, it comes back. I have been doing this for a while. But it keeps coming back after even putting it on for 3 months strait! What do I do now?

every time I get exited,happy or just because. I star to sweat and is very uncomfortable because my face, my hands,my underarms and all my body does't. I been tried all typs of medication and nothing works, can some body have and idea abouth this disease and how can I get read of it.thank you all

because i know of a few people who have this scar; (only difference is the length, it's shorter) and they have not had any surgery, this scar just appeared at a certain stage in

I recently used AcneFree Severe that has just healed my acne like NOTHING else ever has. But now I'm left with scars everywhere. They're still new, so I assume they're easier to get rid of at this point. What's the fastest way to fade these scars without it costing a ton of money? How long does your method take before the scars are gone? Thanks!!!

I am at home with my children during the day so I pretty much have my hands in water all day between washing their hands, my hands, laundry and dishes. I have tried lotion after lotion, Aquaphor ointment and Vasaline but nothing is helping. My hands look like an 80 year olds hands and I'm only in my thirties. Worse than that they are cracking all over, bleeding and really painfull. Any ideas of a great lotion would be appreciated.

When I shave, (this has been happening for a while, but more recently in the past six months) I end up getting these little red bumps, they are visible, more like they're a part of the skin, then pimples or anything, but basically they don't even go away between the times I shave, they just stay, and I have NO idea what to to do get rid of them. I was diagnosed with type two diabetes, and ever since then I keep getting GIANT abcesses under my arm pits, I'm tired of going back and fourth to the hospital getting them drained! they hurt so bad, and I want to know how can I prevent them from ever coming back the doctor cuts them and gives me a perscribtion to prevent the infection from coming back but those pills dont work, I had over 30 abcesses and every time one heals another comes right back! I cant take it anymore I have three now but I refuse to go to the doctor I have no insurance and cant afford it. Is it safe for me to poke a hole in them and drain them myself?

I become very itchy after showers now and find it lasts for days, it graduely gets better with time though, aslong as i stay away from the shower :(
From reading some of the answers on this site I've found it could be my skin becoming drier; my hands do show this a bit more now too. I've moved to Norway from the UK now, maybe the air here is drier or something?
I don't drink a lot of water through the day which could be the problem, the main reason for this is i never feel like drinking much and if i do i spend the day going to the toilet :(

Does anyone have any ideas of what it could be and how to help?

oh my god. okay, so i wa susing Scar Zone Sudden Change cream for some acne scars on my forehead, and it was working soo well! it also got rid of some of my current acne buy flattening it out.

well after 3 days, BOOM! i woke up this morning for school with bumps ALL over my forehead and redness. it looks like acne, BUT THOSE ARE NOT PIMPLES!!! theyre allergy bumps. i read the label for scar zone and it says "if irritation occurs, stop use."

OMG! so i went to school, everyone staring at my forehead. now im taking benadryl to relieve the itching, but can it also take away the bumps???!! the bumps look and feel terrible and huge!!!

please help. i dunno what to do. all i wanted were scars to go away!!!
