Skin Conditions - February 2007

It hurts sometimes.... that's when i noticed it, it looks like i have xtra fatty skin in that armpit, not excessive but more than the other. Somedays i can't feel it but others i do, can it be cancer or something bad like that?

i have been getting dry skin on my hands for 3-4 days and i try to cure it by using bath and body works lotions but sometimes that doesn't help b/c it gets dry again. i want to know what causes the dry skin. i heard that washing your hands too much does it right and maybe the cold weather or something? what can i do and what kinds of lotions do u recommend best for dry skin?

I have started discovering that the skin between my lower lip & chin is turning a little darker,,,,, i dont know what the reason is but i have started noticing this from almost a month..... Also my skin around lip-end is slightly darker,,,some1 had told me that this is due to the saliva that comes out from my mouth when i sleep at night....... Pls suggest how can i cure this before the problem becomes serious.......

I had the Levulan with BlueLight treatment done at a medspa...it cost $550. All they did was rub the clear gel on my face, leave me alone for 3 hours, then exposed me to blue light for 7 minutes. I have a blue light at home....I know I could do the treatments myself...for much less money.
This is an acne treatment.

i have pimples on my chin and a couple near my nose. but i also have all thse dry spots near my neck and cheeks. i put vitamin E cream on them but then that gives me pimples sometimes to. i dont no what the dry sports are i thought they were a fungi thing but im not sure. they dont go away. there like a dry spot and it looks flakey but i dont no what to do. i cant put moisuriser on cause the that makes my skin get more pimples but i cant put stuff to dry my face because then it makes the spots go even dryer. ??

I get these weird bumps on my skin that look like mosquito bites, but there are no mosquitos out. I have had them on my legs, breasts, arms, stomach, and back. They just pop up in random places, but are usually found in clumps together.They itch SO bad! I have looked for bed bugs, but I don't think I have them. I was just wondering if anyone has had these symptoms and what it was?

I took them to the vet about two weeks ago and neither vet had seen anything similar...She prescribed anitbiotics for the respiratory infection and thought that might clear it up (it didnt) , she also suggested trying a different type of bedding (i use carefresh and am going to try aspen). the growths are around the outer edge of the ear and dont seem bothersome, some spots are black but it looks crusty. I will take them back to the vet, but was hoping I could get some peace of mind before I do that. Could it be a fungus? Are there any websites with good diagnostic photos?

They're red dots all over my legs. They kinda look like razor burn but they're all over my legs and they're there even when I don't shave. I also have them on the upper part of my arms. I've had them for years, they don't go away. So I'm wondering what it is because they were just brought to my attention again, and they bother me.

i have terrible itching right around my tailbone, i have tried hydrocortizone and several differnt oilments, but it will not go completely away, problem being it itches so severly i cant stand it and i make it worse, i have no medical and cant afford to see a dr for it, please any suggestions on how to stop the itching if i could get relief from the itching long enough i think it would clear up completely because it starts to look better but then i make it worse all over again-this has been going on for mths.thank you i appreciate any suggestions
