It hurts sometimes.... that's when i noticed it, it looks like i have xtra fatty skin in that armpit, not excessive but more than the other. Somedays i can't feel it but others i do, can it be cancer or something bad like that?

It sounds like an abscess, I have them. If it feels soft and pus filled, it's probably an abscess. They are painful and burst on their own. Hot compresses and an antibacterial ointment help. Deodorants and antiperspirants make it worse. The ointment will protect you from any underarm odor. Check with your doctor to make sure.

i had 2 over the last month the first had went away on it's own but the second wouldn't so i had to go to the ER to get it lanced . It turned out to be staff . but most of the time these things go away on there own but if it stays a week or more you need to get it checked out.

hello cristy yes you should go to a doctor and have it checked out before it gets whorse then you will have more problems with it taken care as soon as possible

It may not be anything to worry about, but I would got have it looked at. It's better to be safe then sorry,,,Good Luck
