Well, I don't know if this is exactly what you're looking for, but ask your dermatologist about a face cleanser called M.D. Forte. It's a cleanser that you massage into your dry face for about 3 minutes and then wash it off. It's almost like a mini microdermabrasion where you're removing the dead layers of skin. I would think that it would help with the removal of acne scars :]

Right now my skin is perfectly clear, for the first time in 3 years. It's been about 9 weeks and all my acne is gone. It is such a great feeling to wake up with clear skin.

Regula Glyolic facials or the cheaper alternative is purchasing a facial moisturiser that contains Glycolic Acid, each time you apply it it will gradually improve and fade your scars- you will still be left with "pitting" but that is a side effect of acne.
Most Glycolic Acid creams retail for about AU $100-$150 so they are quite cheap considering the great results they have

Scars heal at their own rate...for years. That's the bad news.
The worse news is that acne "scars" tend to be pits in the face, as opposed to more traditional raised tissue scars. Going by Edward James Alamos(sp) and his famous mug, you *may* be stuck with them. Talk to your dermatologist.

Try regular exfoliation with a facial scrub...just don't over do it. Then use a vitamin E cream or cocoa butter and rub it into the scars.
