When I shave, (this has been happening for a while, but more recently in the past six months) I end up getting these little red bumps, they are visible, more like they're a part of the skin, then pimples or anything, but basically they don't even go away between the times I shave, they just stay, and I have NO idea what to to do get rid of them. Any ideas anyone? Products or things I could do myself to get rid of em? Thanks A lot!!

Shave right after you have taken a hot shower and use a thick shaving gel. Do not stretch your skin while shaving and shave in the direction your beard grows, try not to go over the area more than once. Rinse your razor with cold water in between strokes. Take a washcloth put rubbing alcohol and pat where you have shaved it stings but it kills bacteria.Use a moisturizing lotion after shaving and change your blade at least every week. Neutrogena sells a product for razor bumps/burn, it works fairly good! Hope this helps.

Don't lose hope! A friend of ours stopped growing his beard & had that for nearly a year. He says the skin does toughen up again eventually, but there are lots of shaving products, like rich foam or gels for sensitive skin, until then. (If it looks watery, it's not for you.) You could try products with aloe vera to soothe the skin between times & close the pores. Or witch hazel gel afterwards.
(Not any with alcohol, that stings!) Or have you tried an electric razor? Some razors are smoother than others, it's worth changing to check that out.

Wet a folded-up Kleenex with isopropyl rubbing alcohol after you shave, and wipe that all over where you shaved. It's the same thing as using after-shave, but without the cost and fragrance. It will sting, but you'll get used to it! I had the same problem when I was young, until I started doing that. I've been doing it for over 30 years. It works!
