I was diagnosed with type two diabetes, and ever since then I keep getting GIANT abcesses under my arm pits, I'm tired of going back and fourth to the hospital getting them drained! they hurt so bad, and I want to know how can I prevent them from ever coming back the doctor cuts them and gives me a perscribtion to prevent the infection from coming back but those pills dont work, I had over 30 abcesses and every time one heals another comes right back! I cant take it anymore I have three now but I refuse to go to the doctor I have no insurance and cant afford it. Is it safe for me to poke a hole in them and drain them myself?

Start using spray deoderants instead of solid. The solid deoderants tend to block the hair follicles & pores.
Another suggestion.... go to your local drugstore and see if they carry a product called "Boil-ease" (sp??). It's an ointment (smells awful) that will make the boil come to a head and erupt.
Yet another suggestion.....hold hot compresses to the boil; this also helps it to come to a head before erupting.

Hope this helps!

Those bumps are boils. They are caused by a bacteria that lives on your skin. Staph.. they are naughty bacteria.

The doctor lanced your boil, and then prescribed you antibotics to kill off the rest of the bacteria causing the infection. I'd say that your immune system is very low considering it can't fight off these infections. Try showering more often and keeping the armpit dry using powder or something. You can also try applying alcohol to the armpits to disinfect the skin. If you shave your armpits.. then stop shaving to lessen the irritation.
To boost your immune system..add more citrus fruits or tomatoes to your diet. Your body needs some vitman C to help it!

try going to the health department. it's cheaper. don't do it yourself because you might cause an infection. ask the health department about doctors that specialize in diabetes. one might help you stop getting the abcesses.
