I am at home with my children during the day so I pretty much have my hands in water all day between washing their hands, my hands, laundry and dishes. I have tried lotion after lotion, Aquaphor ointment and Vasaline but nothing is helping. My hands look like an 80 year olds hands and I'm only in my thirties. Worse than that they are cracking all over, bleeding and really painfull. Any ideas of a great lotion would be appreciated.

Curel "Restore and Revive"!!!! I know exactly where you're coming from. The dishes and skin care products applied with my hands do it for me. They get so dry and peel terribly left to themselves. So my husband, actually, introduced me to this lotion he uses. (He worked in construction and knows how hard it is to keep nice hands, too) This stuff is absolutely amazing. It begins healing the skin immediately and makes it so soft and fresh and young looking. And it's nice that you can just get for about $4 from any Wal-mart, Target, or wherever. Give it a shot!

Oh, and it doesn't make your hands feel greesy or oily at all, which is another fabulous plus if you actually want to enjoy touching your own hands or holding your husband's or children's hands.

Check out the Neutrogena line. They have lotions in different varities including unscented in case you're allergic to fragrance. I particularly like the line they make called Norweigian Formula. It comes in body lotion as well as hand and foot lotions. It's extra concentrated so you don't need a whole lot. If that line is not for you, try the Lubriderm brand. Again, they come in fragrance-free and sensitive skin formulas as well as other formulas.
