I know somebody who uses it for more than a year, and it really worked for them. However, it does not work right away as the commercials say.

Yes, but no better than drugstore brands. They have the same active ingredients. I would recommend L'oreal advanced solutions peel, and a good face wash, from the drugstore. Look for a nighttime formula, without alcohol. Alcohol will dry your skin, which will cause dryness, and may cause blemishes. Use the products on a regular basis, don't start and stop. The Advanced solution peel also contains mushroom protein which reduces puffiness, redness and scars.

It certainly didn't work for me. I will tell you a product that is out of this world and works 200 times better than Proactiv. It's called "Edgar Morris Skin Products" and is based out of California. Do the search on-line and try it out. They don't advertise on TV but only word of mouth and it is a renowned skin care line. Try it! You'll see!

A young girl I work with, she's probably 24 and had really bad acne,,then one day I asked her how she cleared her skin up as she was pregnant, and I thought the pregnacy was why her complection was so much better,, but she told me she was using pro-active and I couldn't believe the difference in her complection...cleared right up..so much that I did notice the change,,so I would say that this stuff really works...My advice is use it I saw a change in her right away...good luck

All i can tell you is those ads annoy the crap out of me, i'd punch any of those celebrities in the face if i ever met them for all the wasted tv timeslots.... dont trust celebrities... trust your chemist or skin care specialist.
