avoiding chocolate worked for me, some people are 'allergic' to it and get zits. also if you have pets avoid kissin on em, which I know is hard not to do! their hair has oils in it. proactiv worked for me for a while, and I didn't have to pay the $40 every two months, more like only 2 or 3 kits a year. right now I use duac and differin gels, and an antibiotic 3x a week which works great.

Double cleanse, lotion (non alcoholic toner) and moisturise your skin twice a day. Use a non abrasive facial exfoliant twice a week and use a hydrating facial mask once a week. After one week you will notice a change and after two weeks you will have clear healthy skin.

Make sure you use a milky cleanser, not anything that foams and use a lotion or a serum before using your moisturiser. Just don't use a lotion ot toner with alcohol in it- it dehydrates skin.

***Number 1 tip is to drink a lot of water and to not touch your face as you will spread dirt and bacteria and encourage overproduction of sebum (oil)

Daily cleaning your face (in the morning and at night before going to bed) without the use of harsh abrasive cleansers. Also, diet is key as well as exercise. Finally get at least 15 minutes of direct sunlight everyday if you can. These things added to your regimen will help maintain clear fresh skin.
