Try using a pore cleanser like Noxema or Olay every second night before bed. Wash your face before bed every night with warm to hot water.

Good luck.

Just make sure to clean your face well EVERY night. Blackheads and pimples are caused by a build up of oil and dirt in the pores, and unfortunately if you have bigger pores, you are more susceptible to such skin conditions. Try to avoid anything with a high alcohol content, as it really dries out the skin. If I were you, I would use OXY pimple remover. It's a white cream that you put in certain problem spots that will usually remove spots in a couple days. It works wonderfully. On normal days, use something like Stridex face cleansing pads. They're pretty cheap and easy to use - you don't even have to use water. Clean your face and you should be good.

Steam your face once a week for 3 to 4 minutes to open up the pores. Use a home made face scrub using the white of an egg and a little salt.More cheap and natural remedies for black and white heads at the link below.

Cleanse, apply lotion and then apply moisturiser twice daily, morning and night.
Do not use an alcoholic lotion/toner and use a milky cleanser for best results.

To help remove comedones (black heads) use a non abrasive exfoliant twice a week and use a mud or other drying mask once a week. You should see results in one week and if you stick to this routine your comedones will be minimal to none in 2-3 weeks.

Good luck
