I put up with acne for years and nothing worked until I broke down and saqw a dermatologist. Don't be like me and see you dermatologist earlier rather than later. I use retin-a and benzaclyn and an anti-biotic and my skin is clearer than its been in 10 years. I've had a couple of breakouts in the past 4 months I been using the stuff, but they were small and cleared up quickly. I used just about every OTC remedy out there, including Proactiv, and nothing worked for more than a couple of weeks. Proactiv wasn't bad, it just stopped working onmy skin after about 2 weeks, although I used it for 2 months in the hope it was a temporary setback.

If you have acne, you should get a prescription for Differin cream or gel. It really works to clear up all kinds of blemishes. As for what to use to wash your face, I like Cetaphil. It seems really slimy, but trust me, it WILL NOT clog your pores, nor will it cause more zits. Good luck.

Soap and water.
Such as Aveeno products, which do a good job using natural/pure ingredients
