oh my god. okay, so i wa susing Scar Zone Sudden Change cream for some acne scars on my forehead, and it was working soo well! it also got rid of some of my current acne buy flattening it out.
well after 3 days, BOOM! i woke up this morning for school with bumps ALL over my forehead and redness. it looks like acne, BUT THOSE ARE NOT PIMPLES!!! theyre allergy bumps. i read the label for scar zone and it says "if irritation occurs, stop use."
OMG! so i went to school, everyone staring at my forehead. now im taking benadryl to relieve the itching, but can it also take away the bumps???!! the bumps look and feel terrible and huge!!!

Yes, it should. As will Claritin...they actually make Claritin for Hives. Get a Hydro-cortisone cream to apply topically.

The only thing that can heal the body, is the body.
The Benadryl make relieve the symptoms, and give the body a chance to focus on bringing things back to normal without driving you nuts, but ultimately the cells of your body must "fix things" and that may happen quickly or slowly. This can depend of a variety of factors and are greatly influenced by nutrition.
When I work with clients suffering from skin irritation, I will recommend temporarily avoiding all processed foods and meat for a short period of time. This is because meat and preservatives both require extra effort by the body to process.
Don't worry: you should get plenty of protein from everything else in your diet.
By reducing these other "extra things" for your body to deal with, you may find that your capacity for healing increases. When you're feeling better, you can return those foods to your diet and you should be fine.
Also, drink more water through out the day.

i think it mainly works on the itching. it's an antihistamine, so it blocks the chemicals that cause the itching. you probably need a prescription med for the bumps. i had a really bad allergic reaction to latex paint last summer and i had to go to the ER. the doctor prescribed prednisone for the hives and benadryl for the itching. it worked like magic!

are you using benadryl the topical cream/oinment or the oral medication? it might take away the bumps. the bumps should go away on their own, because it sounds like it was an allergic reaction or side effect to the scar cream.

Yes it does. I have a cat and one of my sisters best friends is allergic to cats, but she comes over all the time and she takes benadryl and she is perfectly fine while at my house. She doesn't ever get itchy and her face never gets blochy...it works!

While it took little less than two months for me to really see a difference, my acne, blackheads and whole lot of other skin problems I had such as eczema had completely cleared! It was totally amazing...
