I keep hearing about it in the past week. I know it's beneficial. Head and Shoulders has zinc in it to help get rid of dandruff. If regularly using zinc on sun-damaged skin, will it help a lot?

Also, what is the benefit of zinc oxide ointment? Is it just as beneficial? Would taking a zinc tablet once or twice a day be better than applying ointment?

i'm 14, and my eczema is becoming a bit of a problem. My hands, wrists and neck are the most badly affected.
I think, whenever i'm stressed, worried or nervous i start scratching. Its horrible, and makes my skin red and dry.
I use Nivea cream, and it does help a little. But i'm not sure if Atrixo, another brand makes it worse.
Has anyone got any idea what could relieve the itching? Not a pleasent subject i know. Lol. All replies appreciated.

I need a good lotion for very dry skin. My skin is so tight and ashy this winter. Any suggestion....nothing sticky, too oily, or hard to rub in (ex: neiva)

I workout and then take a shower right after I'm done (at the gym) and yet I still break out on my chest and back.

Ahhh! Blackheads..Ok to put it short. They are rather annoying. Does anyone know any methods of removal that don't include buying things like £10? If you do, please post here. Thanks.

I live in WV - my son's doctor is in Clendenin. About 6 months ago I took him to get his chicken pox vaccination. Ever since he has gotten rashes all over his body. I took him back to the doctor over the rashes and was told it was normal and he was o.k. Every time he gets a rash it gets worse. Right now he is recovering from a rash that was on his chest and back. His skin feels somewhat like sand paper. I am looking for answers to if possibly the vaccination caused this and what I can do.

I've had a navel piercing for a little over two months now, and no one I know has one so I don't know how it's supposed to look. I think it's infected because someone told me that it should just look like my normal skin around the ring and my skin is darker in that area.

I've had a mole on my forearm for my entire life (not sure if it was there when I was born, but probably not!) It's not really changed, but has some of the ABCDE characteristics. For example, sort-of assymetrical, irregular border (but an ovalish shape), color is pretty much the same but a bit lighter in the middle. Diameter is smaller than a pencil eraser, and it is elavated, but always has been and hasn't changed.
This picture looks quite a lot like my mole: http://www.skincancer.org/images/stories/dysplastic_nevi/d_nev_5.jpg
Should I get it checked out/removed, or am I fine right now? My family have always had atypical moles, but nobody in my family that I know of have developed skin cancer. I'm thirteen, can melanoma occur at this age?
