Well, I had acne problems and I looked at home remedies for it. A few I have found that seem to work a little are: Honey Toothpaste and Ointment such as Neosporen However, My zits just kept getting worse so I finally went to the dermatologist. He told me that Zits are strictly hormonal and that the type of food you eat, how much you sweat, how oily your face is, what products you are using does not effect your zits. You get zits from a change in hormones such as stress or just the age you are. At one point I was using proactiv to fix my acne problem but it didnt help. He told me that my proactiv and other home remedies wasnt potent enough to treat my acne so he prescribed me some prescription ointment. I was worried about the cost but my insurance covered it and I only had to pay like 10 bucks which was wayy cheaper than proactiv and better than any home remedy. To top it all off my face is clearing up after just 5 days. I suggest you ditch the home remedies, make sure your insurance covers it and go to the dermatologist.

I have had back/chest acne..since about 7th grade (I'm graduating college now) I once asked a dr. about it and he said it wasn't acne (even though it was) and said it was an infection..and he never gave me med or something for it...so I still have it! It is sooo embarrassing that I never go swimming or wear tank tops or low cut tops. I did find that when I went tanning for prom it dried it up..and once I went to FL at the beach and got tanned/burned and it cleared it up a lot..but it jsut comes right back. I usually use liquid body wash..but if sometimes if I use bar soap it makes my skin dry and it clears it up a little. If you find a solution...let me know! I am still battling this....and I know it is unhealthy to do all that tanning otherwise I would keep going to get rid of those things.

Good question! Yet tough to anwer. It depends on a lot of factors. It could be in your genes, the food you eat, your skin type, ethnic backround. You can ask a someone to pop them. But if you don't do this correctly you will have scars. You can see a dermatologist. But I'm sure there is a more affordable way! But do definitely give up the chocolate and the chips and pizza! Those are infamous for causing pimples!

It is important to use skin friendly products and not pinch the pustules so that there are no scars formed. A good soap like Neutrogena or Cetaphil is recommended. Mild oil free skin creams should only be used . This link should provide more remedies.
