I got one of those extractor things designed to remove blackheads (looks kind of like something a dentist would use - metal handle with a small metal loop on each end). I'm not sure why it works, but it works like crazy... especially on those blackheads on the sides of my nose where they are hard to get at. I also got a 10X magnifying mirror to make them easier to see. I wouldn't recommend that, though, because you can see a LOT of things you didn't know were even there, and the temptation to "fix" them is huge!

Actually, the best thing to do is to go to a dermatologist. Only he can see what's actually going on and either treat you, or give you medications or prescriptions. Just remember, these blackheads can leave scars, whether you play with them or not.....for a lifetime. Best of luck to you.
