I have a birthmark about three inches big. It is on my chest. When i wear a bikini it gets covered most of the time. I am scared about the future with global warming and everything and the ozone layer getting removed so the UV rays are stronger. I also have pale skin and blonde hair and blue eyes, so I am more prone to skin cancer. Do you think that it is a good idea to get it removed. I also hate it and I can't wear low cut dresses.

Ok, well, last year I grew an inch upward, and well.. an inch or two outward. Its part of puberty, i know, but my skin is so sensative, an last year i developed stretch marks on my hips. I have in my possession, emu oil, as well as self tanner to help cover them up. I KNOW that I will still be able to notice them, no matter what, but will self tanner, such as Jergens or Loreal brand, plus emu oil work to conceal them? Will other people be able to see them very clearly?? I would appreciate advice on how else to cure them , besides lasers, and if anyone else has been succesful. What are your experiences and trix? I really need help. Much appreciated!!

My sister is turning 4 years old. She has extremely dry skin. We tried putting creams on her like Cetephil (recommneded by a doctor.) Why does she have dry skin and how can we get rid of it? Please! she is the cutest girl! We know that it is probably exema its weird cuz her name is Emma (exma)

I've notice that now matter how little a scratch is it doesn't go away. I have a scar on my leg from just a little scratch that I didn't even know how it got there! And this scar has been there for about a month now.
Is there anything I can use to make these scars fade away faster?
Is there even something wrong with me, should I tell my doctor about this kind of stuff?

All of a sudden I have these dark spots on my left butt check near the crack. It's not a lot...just a cluster. They aren't bumpy or anything like that & they don't hurt or itch. It's like someone just drew on me. I'm thinking hyperpigmentation or something like that since I am 7 months pregnant. Why does it have to be in such an unsightly place & I don't have them anywhere else...??? Do u have an idea of what this condition is?

i used to have the BEST skin! it must be hormones.. but it only started when i was about 17.. (im still 17) so it cant really be puberty... can it?

ive been using aveeno, but it doesn really work.. and i used the neutrogena face scrub which worked at first but now its not. i have acne on my forehead.. and i have pimples on my face near my cheeks. its so weird. its not serious to the point that people are like WOAH SHE HAS ACNE! no one thinks that when they see me.. thats the thing.

its there, but its not like.. super noticeable. its not liek crazy acne, but its acne nonetheless.

what products can i use, if any? i heard phisoderm could work.. ive never tried that.

i tried clean&clear a while back (the blackhead scrub & the acne foam wash) and it cleared my skin up but then my skin was so dry., like my skin was FLAKING! . but then again, i used it twice a day. should i just get this stuff and use it less often? i dont want proactiv, i hear it doesnt work..

My daughter has scalp ring worm again. My husband has it on and off and we think she got it from him, (he is a Marine in the field a lot.)She has been treated with oral Lamisil for a month and after 2 weeks without the meds it re accures again. This has been 4 months of ongoing treatment. We wash everything in hot water, I have checked the pets. What do we do? The poor thing has to have a blood check everytime we start the meds again. Anyone else ever have this problem? Anyone know how to get rid of it for good?

how thick is the cornea and is it a protective skin layer so if you get a scratch where the center of the eyeball is will it protect the pupil and iris?

I've tried everything! Everything in the face wash section. Proactive and medicine from the doctors! It wont go away! I also havent started my period yet. Could that be part of the reason why I still have really bad acne?

I have fair skin and hair, yet I get the worst blackheads! I wash my face morning and night with a salicylic acid cleanser (noxema), but I still can't get rid of them. I'm 26--wasn't this supposed to end in high school??! Retin-A works to clear my skin very nicely, but I want some sort of treatment that's less harsh on my skin since I am at about 8000 feet elevation everyday.

Anyone out there been on both prednisone and medrol? I'm curious to see which one you felt was better for you. I'm on day 4 of taking Prednisone, but wondering if Medrol may be better for me. I'm already swelling from the steroids. Just looking for the lesser of the two evils.

If you haven't been on both, but have been on one of the two, let me know your experience of that as well. THANKS!
