Anyone out there been on both prednisone and medrol? I'm curious to see which one you felt was better for you. I'm on day 4 of taking Prednisone, but wondering if Medrol may be better for me. I'm already swelling from the steroids. Just looking for the lesser of the two evils.
If you haven't been on both, but have been on one of the two, let me know your experience of that as well. THANKS!

Depends on what you are taking it for. They are cousins of one another and basically are the same but they are prescribed for different ailments.

Just finished 5 days of Prednisone.. I was a little reluctant to take it..,but had no problems. Did have the swelling.. my appetite picked up a bit too. Never heard of Medrol. .Will have to look it up.

I had 4 bouts with Prednisone, I gained 40 LBs which I can't seem to get rid of.
