If you are talking any birth control pill - not necessarily. For me, my acne got worse when I went on the pill. It's all about hormones! For some, their complexion clears up.

However, there have been several brand name pills that claim to be prescribable for the benefit of acne. One just came out a few weeks ago...Yaz. Not much info out there yet.

if you mean if taking the pill helps, than yes. and if your acne is little bit bad, than ask for DIANE 35, that is a special kind of pill, which protects you, but also helps for acne and if you are more hairy.

Definately! Try Yasmin or Brenda (aussie version). My skin cleared up fast when i went on it as a teenager

it really matters. it is adding hormones to your body, but it is still keeping them at a constant level. i still have just as many zits as i did before, but it has really helped me control my depression. I didn't think they were helping at first , because i got really really depressed, then i went off of them, then my body went crazy, then i went back on and haven't had a problem since.
