Skin Conditions - January 2007

My skin is really yellow and unlike many other girls, i prefer not to be tanned. Is there any ( natural ) way i can get my skin to be lighter or less yellow?

hi, my friend has just shown me lots of white circular patches on her back that she thinks started when she went on sunbeds. they seem to be spreading and getting bigger. its like all the pigment has come out of her skin? could anyone tell us what this maybe and what we can do about it please? thanks x

p.s. i've already given her a lecture on the dangers of them things!!

ok so im a 13 year old girl ad i have a ton of acne on my face. my mom won't let me get proactive or anything like that cuz she says its just a stage im going through...and ive been going through it for 2 years now. i am currently using neutrogena deep clean gentle scrub [[oil free]] and immediatly after i use the neutrogena, i use something called dermalogica. its one of those 3 step things. i stopped using the neutrogena, and my skin still stayed the same. im afraid if i stop using the dermalogica it wil be like proactive, and everything will get worse. i have sidebangs, and wear my hair down a lot. it's not oily, just kind of thick. i hate pinning my bangs up because of the acne. HELP.

I have dry skin so I put on moisturizer (??) last night before I went to be like I usually do. I have two different kinds and last night I used the one that I don't usually used. The last (and only other ) time I used this one kind everyone said my face looked swollen but I didn't think so and I used it again. Now I woke up and I have these red spots on my face (about 4) and they are big. They kind of look like bug bites only they are not raised (they are flat). They are too big to be zits. So I put on the better moisturizer and then took both off later and nothing happened. What could this be and what can I use to make it look better?

Can I use proactiv more than twice a day...I know it said morning and night but since I got it {2days ago} I been using it morning, noon, and night, because I always wash my face like that. And also do proactiv clear the marks{or scars} on your face the came from the acne.

I just did a glycolic peel for the first time and I was wondering if the dryness is normal it looks like I have a really bad sunburn. My skin is tight and dry. Also, what did your skin look like while you were doing it? and Do you know if I can use a mild scrub tomorrow morning to help get rid of the dry skin.

k, in november, i developed a rash on my underarms(both) wierd i know. K, i went to the doctor, he told me it was a east infection. prescribed creams. good. k, about a week later, it was almost cleared up. Then, i started getting tiny red bumps that looked like hives(almost). went back to mr. dr. man, he said on top of my yeast infection i had a bacterial infection because of the creams as welll now. so, no more creams. I had to take Grifulvin for 28 days, Omnicef for 10, Prednisone for 10, and Benadryl. K, so everything was fine, then I shaved my arms, and now i have a similar looking rash, and a crusty looking crap. Went back to mr.dr.man, he says I have folliculitis, but doesnt prescribe anything. I need home remedies for this thst will work BEFORE valentines Day!!!! No more Dr. PLEASE I AM ONLY 14, I shouldnt have to go through all of this discomfort in addition to high school.!!! If anyone can give me even a hint as towhatmight help, and the time frame, I'll love you forever!!!!!
