Since it is a bacteria, you can treat it with one of the best natural antibiotics in the WORLD!!!
GARLIC-
Prepare a simple garlic oil and keep it on hand for future use.
Garlic Infused Olive Oil
1 bottle olive oil
3-4 cloves garlic, peeled and quartered
Drop garlic slices into olive oil and close tightly. Let bottle sit in a dark place for 2-3 days. Strain out all of the garlic and store the bottle at room temperature. You can refrigerate it, but it will solidify. Just set it on the counter and it will begin to return to its liquid state.
OR-To make it quicker. You can bake the garlic in oil in the oven and it will only take an hour. It will probably smell better, too.
1 ½ cup garlic cloves
2 ½ cups extra virgin olive oil
Pre-heat oven to 350°F. Add whole, peeled garlic cloves to casserole dish and immerse in olive oil. Bake uncovered for 45 minutes or until garlic is golden in color and oil is bubbling. Remove from oven and allow to cool. Gently scoop out the roasted garlic cloves. Strain oil into a separate container.
(You can eat the garlic cloves-spread them on toast.)

***You will want to rub a small amount of this oil under your arms-preferably before bed or on the weekend when you have nowhere to go and no one to see :) It will work just like an antibiotic/antifungal cream, etc.

***Garlic oil can also be used for ear infections, steph and strep infections, sore throat, thrush, etc.
***My rule of thumb on garlic is this: If it is an infection, try garlic FIRST!

**NOTE: There is a risk of botulism when dealing with homemade garlic oils (IF the garlic REMAINS in the oil). So be sure to get all of the garlic out.
Here is a reference: "When raw garlic is stored in oil, Clostridium botulinum (botulism) bacteria can grow. These mixtures must be refrigerated to slow bacterial growth. After 2 weeks of refrigeration, the increased number of bacteria will become a food safety hazard. Therefore, these mixtures should not be refrigerated longer than 2 weeks. When garlic is immediately removed after flavoring oil, the bacteria will not have a "food source" for growth. The flavored oil can be stored safely at room temperature." http://forums.gardenweb.com/forums/load/harvest/msg0113540213258.html

Ok this answer will ahve to be brief, (it's almost bedtime). Superinfections are common with axillary folliculitis because of the favorable conditions for bacterial growth in the axilla (armpit) when creams are used. The best advice I can give is to apply moist heat compresses to the affected areas, this will promote vasodilation, which means the bad stuff can be carried away better, blood inside that you cant see can get to the areas better to help do an "internal wash." I'm trying to keep this very non-technical. deodorants can be irritating but there is one that you may be able to get at Wal-Mart that is a natural rock type deodorant. It is clear in color and dry and hard, to use it, you wet it with water and then apply. You want to make sure it is thoroughly dry before putting your arms down and its very important to maintain as dry of an environment as possible. The warm compresses are definately gonna be your best bet and keep a close eye on the area and if you see boils instead of tiny red marks, be sure to report this immediately to your physician. Hopefully this helps your stressful situation and don't use your warm compress for more than 20 minutes at a time and make sure it isn't too warm because that in itself can cause problems. Good luck to you!
