I've never heard of treating ringworm with iodine. but I know something else that will work. Tinactin or Lotrimin. it's the same thing that they use for treating athletes foot! but it works. and you can get it a wal-mart, k-mart, or any pharmacy. and you just apply it to the affected area 3 or 4 times a day, and rub it in really good. you should see improvement in just a few days, and it should be completely gone in 7 to 10 days.

Dont use Iodine. I live on a farm, we have goats that get ringworm alot. We use just plain old athletes foot/anti fungal spray. Its easy to use and theres no mess. Also alot of livestock people use Yeast infection creams/medications. It a little bit more expensive but it works fast! Good luck!

Ringworm is a yeast (fungus) not a worm. I agree with answer #1 as to treatment for your dog.
