Proactive works great. Also how is your diet, do drink enough water? You need to eat healthy food (organic when you can), avoid sodas, anything white (sugar, flour, rice) & greasy foods.
Avoid touching your face, your oils from your hands can make the situation worse.

I suffered for years with severe acne (my face was one giant zit and was severely red and painful). I know how you feel and forget proactiv (it makes the issue worse, causes burning, peeling and you look worse AFTER using it than before).

I too tried everything...masks, creams, medications, didn't go to a dermatologist but tried everything else and nothing worked.

A friend of mine (who happens to be a licensed nurse) told me about a line called Serious Skin Care. It works so amazingly well for me and for anyone who has tried it, this line has developed into a line for ANYONE (men and women) from all walks of life. Matter of fact Sly Stallone uses some of the products!

Here is a website link for them: http://www.seriousskincare.com go to the continously clear line. I love all the stuff that they carry and my mom (whose in her mid 60's) also uses their stuff. What is so amazing is that with the continously clear line it really works, no gimmick. It takes less time to work than most stuff out there. You can grow with them too. I use the Acne line the most but also use some of their other stuff as well. My mom's favorite line has to be a C - line, my 21 yr old brother loves their olive oil stuff, etc.

I hope you give them a look. They are also on HSN.com (under the beauty tab). http://www.hsn.com.

I think you'll be surprised at how wonderful their stuff works, they are slightly expensive but alot less expensive than a trip to a dermatologist, perscription medicine etc.

I will have to say that I have never had them on my back. I always get them on my face, but this is what I do.... I use creams, they work, but if they dont for you then use TOOTHPASTE! Yes, it sounds weird but works. Try it they should go away in a week, use it 2-3 times a day. If you wanna know what toothpaste, use colgate, any flavor does it!

Some thing alot of people don't realize can cause bad skin is unclean sheets and pillow cases. When you sleep, you mash your face into the pillow and case. The oils and dirt from your skin build up in the fabric over time and soon it really causes a problem. You're sleeping on an oily dirty pillow and that clogs your pores.
If you're not doing it already, make sure you wash your sheets and pillow cases once a week.

Good luck

Depending on where you live, a dermatologist visit is $75 to $150 for a visit, then another $100 to $250 for treatment products and drugs. Good luck!

this is so simple.

your body gets behind in getting rid of waste from time to time. acne and pimples are an indicator. so you help your body get rid of waste with a form of laxative. i recommend drinking prune juice.

you could also help your pours by steaming like in a sauna.
