If the ECG report tells the heart beat is a bit slow, does it mean I have a weak heart and tend to have a heart attack? The cardiologist said there's nothing wrong. 3 days ago, nearly midnight, after I went to sleep, suddenly I can't breath at all where I've to jump up from the bed to try to breath hard for air.

So, my boyfriend and I have lived together for 6 years. For the first 4 he has had breathing probs but wouldn't go to docs. We have always been big candle fans and have burned them nightly. He says he can't smell anything, so he doesn't care unless I burnt the house down lol. About 2 years ago he was doing some work and inhaled a ton of dust, landing him in hospital. He still says he can't smell anything, but now throws a huge fit and storms out if I light my candles and says it "sets him off" but I can burn them all day, blow them out and toss them in the freezer within 2 minutes of him getting home and he acts normal and fine, so its only when he actually see's the candle burning. He's always had the health issue but now everything we use to do bothers him terribly unless HE wants to do it.

Real deal or is he playing games?

starting from a surgery that went wrong and developed and now has ARDS well today we were told that the sepsis is no longer present but she still has ARDS does anyone have information on this? she has had no fever, oxygen being given is 50 percent with 100 percent by the blood pressure number, the pulse has come down to the 90's and respiratory rate is now 40-50, What do you predict the outcome? how long do you think that she will have to stay in the hospital. Thanks

but that the way to fix it (if it doesn't fix itself within 48 hours) is to puncture the lung to "let the air out". I thought if it was collapsed then that means it hasn't inflated with air (picturing a deflated balloon) Can someone explain?

Doesn't that make it easier for them to clean? I especially love littering on roads where some company says that they will keep the road clean.

I currently have the Pulmo-Aide and find it noisy and slow. But trying to compare others models is making me dizzy. Please help me pick the best one. Cost and size are not the main criteria; efficiency and lack of noise are. Thank you.

I developed an acute sinusitus 2 days ago. I started a Z-pack yesterday. Last night I began to have epigastric cramping. No nausea or vomiting. I had a low grade fever of 99.8 (oral). Then this morning I rushed to brush my teeth because of this horrible taste in my mouth. I couldnt finish because I became very weak and short of breath. I had to sit on the floor and I hyperventilated for about 3 minutes. I'm having problems connecting the sinusitus, abdominal pain, fever, shortness of breath, hyperventilation, and near syncope to form a diagnosis. Does anyone have any idea whats going on. Please only answer if you have some medical experience.

My father took cortisone when he was prescribed it and he had very few asthma attacks after he took it, and twenty years later, he still has limited asthma attacks. I have bad asthma, and he doesn't know why people don't prescribe it anymore, and neither do I.

My daughter is 2 and takes Pulmicort Respules 2x a day. Our current (insurance provided) nebulizer is slow and loud. I've heard the ultrasonic ones are great, but Pulmicort can only be taken with a JET nebulizer. This is for home use only, so size is less of an issue than speed and noise. Thanks.

I have been having really bad headaches... Tension in the cerebral area, sensitivity to light and sound. My doctor looked at my tonsils, and saw that they were very large, which is normal for me,... she assumed that my headaches could be caused from lack of oxygen to the brain when sleeping or sleep apnea caused from my large tonsils... Can teens get sleep apnea? And is it extremely harmful for a teen to get? I am only 17... thank you!

My 5 year son has asthma, it's bad. Everytime he gets a cold the dr. puts him on a steroid to help boost his immune system! He proly gets the meds every other month! Is this harmful in the long run! I can't think of what it is called right now, I wanna say prednisolone (spelling) but not 100% on that!
