I have a really bad phlegm problem, it feels like it's stuck inbetween my throat and nose and i can't hoark it up or blow it out. Its really disgusting, uncomfortable and it's making me snore. I've tried breathing in hot steam which helps a little but not much. Does anyone have any simple remedies i can try without spending a fortune on herbs and other stuff like that? Please help!

I've had a cough for almost two weeks. Soon followed a sore throat. I went to the doctor and he gave me some cheratussin to take before bed and told me to sleep with a vaporizer. But none of that is helping. At night, I cant sleep because I cough so much that I choke and throw up my dinner before midnight. I've tried everything (cough drops, orange juice/water every hour, saltwater gargle, drinking tea, rest, etc...), but nothing seems to be working. Any help?

My cat is only abt. 2 & 3/4 yrs old & was diagnosed this evening with an UTI. He's virtually still a baby & it just came on all of a sudden. He was in such pain, it had me very nervous. Yet, my other cat who's abt 15-16 has NEVER had one. He gets bad colds & currently has an over-active thyroid, but never an UTI. I've heard that UTI's are common in cats, why is that & how can I prevent it from happening? Also what are some early warning signs to look for?

My father is VERY stubborn and would rather suffer than go to the
hospital, he thinks he will have to go have surgery or be in the
hospital for weeks. He has smoked for YEARS and now has trouble breathing. We have to make him go to the doctors (last appt was his medical exam for the army 50+ yrs ago). I know he will need a breathing machine / oxygen tank, but what test will
be done at the Dr's? I'm trying to ease his mind and get his butt to the doctors asap) ....

Most internet sales media market these producsts like diabetesonline etc, hearthealth on line, american diabetes association. but thier policy is they will not sell to any body outside the U.S.A. THESE GADGETS ARE NOT MANUFACTURED IN OUR COUNTRY. Now keeping above in view cant the government set up a special licence for private people, suffering from ailments, to get access to those gadgets, like through the American Consulate Medical wing etc ?
