If your physician feels a need for you to have another chest x-ray than the benefit from having the x-ray almost certainly out- weighs any possible risks from the x-ray itself. However, I would advise you to bring up your concerns with your doctor, at the very least that should alleviate some of your worry.

You don't say why the reason for the frequent Xrays
Its not the norm to have a routine Xray.. for no reason

My last chest Xray was in early 2004 when I injured my spine

too many Xrays/radiation is not good for your health

Usually when you have a physical exam it is yearly. If there are problems, then your physician can order more x-rays. If you are asking if there will be problems of added radiation, you would be ok. If you have a yearly, your yearly wouldn't be due until next August. I work in the medical field and some patients get x-rays quite frequently as the doctor ordered and are fine. It is up to the physician.

THAT IS COMPLETELY FINE!!!!!!!!!

I have loads of X-Rays each yr as I have cystic fibrosis !

I get on average from 5-8 xrays each yr !!

Some docs tell you that so they wont fill out the form etc etc and it costs money !!!!!!!!

But seriously there is nothing wrong!

HAHA 1 a yr ... Id love that
