Is it actually an infection is the question. It could possibly be allergies that are causing you to have this problem. The fall and spring of the year reek havoc on anyone that has allergies. Try an anihistamine such as benadryl and see if that will give you any relief.

You can have post-nasal drip without having an infection. Stay off antibiotics for a while to get a true reading, and go have a test for infection, and see if you really need more antibiotics, or just a decongestant or antihistamine.

Stay off the antibiotics you will build up a resistant to them, maybe see an allergist, it could be viral/bacteria anything, let it run it's course, if not go to an Ear Nose and Throat Specialist..
