I have a client who has been diagnosed with "Duane's Syndrome", but I am seeing some Apraxic characteristics in gait, gross and fine motor and speech, so I'm wondering if he could have been misdiagnosed.

The past few days I have been experiencing cramping, frequent trips to the restroom, some nausea. I am 24 and have never had a problem with dairy products before. Could I be developing this? It only happens after I eat foods that have dairy in them.

I just had a physical for work and my alt level showed as being in the high range (74) The norm range on the paperwork was 21-72 so i am not extremely high. The Dr cleared me for work (I am a firefighter) and did not recommend anything on the paperwork for the level. Should I be concerned? I see on the web that the normal high range for alt is 40 but my paperworks shows a normal range of 21-72 - I drink on rare ocassions and I do have a few extra pounds on (37 years old also)

I have been told I have this. I have looked up medical and alternative treatments. I take B6 and Glucosamine and have changed my diet to what has been recomended. What is really bothering me is the reaction of other people. Whenever I tell people it is what I have they are very concerned and sympathetic. I just thought the condition was something I had to get on with, and is, but the way everyone is reacting makes me feel that I am unaware of some sort of impending doom. Can someone who has suffered from this tell me what I am to expect for the future. I would rather know.

At times the bottom underside of my nose feels tingly. Mostly if I rub my finger across it. Now today, I feel a numbness to the left side of my nose under my eye. I guess where my sinus is. Thanks for any replys.

Serious respondents only. My Dad is 81 and has been diagnosed with this. I would like to know what it is, how it can be treated, and where to go on the Internet for additional information.

My family members are Christians and we believe in healing prayers. If led by the Lord, please pray for him (his name is George).

Thanks and God Bless!

I have reached an age where I feel as if I'm slowly coming apart physically. I have a number of nagging ailments that keep me from ever completely relaxing. I know I could go to the doctor ( which I do on a regular basis anyway ), but I don't know which problem to tackle first. Sometimes I just wish I could "get outside my body" somehow and escape it all. If anybody has an answer, I'd sure appreciate it!

I can only describe the smell as a chemical smell, not alcohol but almost a sterile type smell. I was working on the computer, then I just smelled something funny and had a rush of panic set in. I was numb, weak, shaking and my heart was racing ( all typical anxiety symptoms) except, the intense smell......... What happened to me?
It was definitely not coming from inside my office and no one was sitting around me. Did my brain release something or what....... also, what does this mean.....is it serious? ......can it happen again.
Is this a sign of something unrelated to my panic attacks? Please let me know asap. I am taking Lexapro and the occassional valium.

Ok, well I was on here the other day explaining my problems and how the ER said my CT scan for appendicitis was normal, but then called me back the next day and said there was some inflammation. The next day I went to my regular doctor and he suggested I go to a surgeon, so I am going this Monday to get a surgeons opinion about my appendix. The ER doctors thought I was nuts because I wasn't having Chronic pain at the moment I was in the ER. It was VERY painful but it wasnt like I was going to die. My doctor called it "Mild Case" of appendicitis.Ok well today my pain has kind of gone away, atleast the pain I was having before. Now it's like a permanant stomach ache on the right side. Sometimes the pain travels down almost to where I want to think its a female organ deal. I guess I don't know what to think. Can it still be my appendix if its not as painful as it was. Or what else could it be? The stomach ache is ONLY on my right side. I'm just wondering if appendicitis can go away or not

My mother in law was taken to the hospital with these symptoms and her heart check out OK and her arteries aren't blocked. She has never smoked and she does have diabeties. They kept her for 2 days and sent her home because they couldn't find anything wrong. Any good ideas out there on what else it could be?

do you think they will come out with cures for major diseases like, cancer diabetes, epilepsy etc etc.do ya think the medical companys are somehow suppressing these cures for financial gain.is seems that if they took all the money spent on space ,money spent on wars and 100 other things that they spend money on they could probably have found many cures.whats your opinion???

ok, I know this will make me look like a dumb a$$, but this is what I REALLY feel... for some reason I feel like I can't die, even when I get old, I just feel like I am invincible. I can feel pain, but I feel if I get shot or something I just won't die. I can't explain it very well, but I feel like this. Does anyone know why I would feel this?
