Sometime when he moves he moves as if he may be paralyized. He has a growth sratrtng on te back of his neck, I wondered if it could have attched it' self to his brain stem. He has had 4 sugries. 3 removing tumors, 1 removing his spleen. The first sugr was to take a tumor outof his right groin, now about a year later one has grown back in the same spot. All I want to find out is hat is wrong wt my father. No body seems to know. And I can't stand watching him wither away. If you have anyideas as to hat may be wrong with my father please let me know

I have been experiencing very frequent episodes of hypoglycemia over the last month. I am not diabetic. I have been to the doctor on multiple occasions and am going to see a specialist next week because my doctor believes that I may have an insulinoma. All my doctor has told me to do so far is to avoid foods high in sugar and to eat small frequent meals/snacks. I have gotten fairly confused several different times but the problems subsided when I ate a few pieces of candy and then had a snack. Today I was home alone all day and I started to feel like my blood sugar was dropping but instead of eating the candy first, I just had popcorn. I passed out and woke up approximately an hour and a half later with a really bad headache. I got up and almost fell over on the way to get something to eat. Several hours later I still have a headache but I am able to walk around and function without a problem. Is there anything that I should do tonight and what should I do if this happens again?

Recently I lost most of the hearing in my left ear. I also have severe pain from time to time deep in my ear also. I went to the doctor and he claimed I do not have an ear infection. When I was younger I had several surgeries on that ear. There is also some draining in that ear from time to time, too. My doctor doesn't know what's wrong, so he told me to try an antihistamine, which is not helping at all. Any clues to what's wrong????

I've had the same sort of pain for about a week. It starts just to the right side of my right hip bone (in my lower abdomen) and radiates down my right leg into my knee and around my pelvic bone across my lower back. The pain is not constant (some days I have no pain at all) and is a bit like a cramping/stabbing hurt. It started out as a non-rhythmic throbbing, but as the week has gone by I'm now in some sort of pain when ever I'm on my feet. When sitting down the hip/abdominal pain goes away and I'm left with a dull lower back ache. I've also noticed that the pain always seems to flare up when ever I have to use the bathroom (bowel movement). I haven't had any trouble "going" but I do seem to be going more frequently. I have no nausea or fever, nor do I have a noticeably swollen abdomen. I've racked my brain and searched the internet for causes of these symptoms but I can't seem to diagnose them exactly.

My insurance company will not cover lap band surgery for me (or gastric bypass for that matter). I have been overweight for years, have sleep apnea, sore knees, and the necessary BMI to qualify. Even the hospital that would do the surgery has told me that they turned them down. Paying for it myself would be out of the question. My company has been using this insurance company for years and years - I do not see them switching carriers in the near future. Is there any way I can get this surgery done? I feel the pros far outweigh the cons.
