It takes some time to control a disease which has no previous such record to affect people. Since it recently affected many people it is difficult to control all of a sudden as they are not prepared to fight against it. So it will take some time to control and then eradicate the disease.

because dengue is very hard to control..u have to control the cases, the cariers..the subclinical cases...which are hard to detect and they're moving around without anyone knowing.

and its vector is mosquito...u cant really put a 100% stop to them!
