Hi! i think u should know that there is no such thing as macular retinal dystropy. There is macular dystrophy or retinal dystrophy but not macular retinal dystrophy. This is because macula is a part of the retina like the fovea centralis or fova... and the optic never and all, when a part of the retina macula is disrupted its like u can get weaker vision and all cuz of the fibers being effected and this congenital(get it from genes) and unfortunately there is no cure for it as yet. As u have mentioned u have found a group of corneal dystrophy but not retinal thats cuzwhen it happens to a particular part of the retina then that part is mentioned as u have mentioned urself like macular dystrophy could optic nerve dystrophy.
Retina is the inner most layer of the eye ball like the choroid and sclearal layers and the retina has many parts like the part for visual accuracy thats the macula and parts for fineness and also light sensitive areas and colour differentiating areas the fovea with its sub parts and also the blind spot where the optic nerve passes out.
So its impossible to put both of it together and i hope that ansers ur question or clearifies u if u!
hope to have anwsered it !
