Don't panic but do take her to the doctor's for a proper check up and carefully explain everything that you saw and how long it went on for. It may well be a seizure or it could be a faint or signs of a cardiac problem. But she does need to be looked at by a doctor as soon as possible.

Also, remember just because she had one seizure, doesn't mean she is epileptic or anything.

Take your daughter to the doctor right now if you think she had a seizure! When someone has a siezure, unless you're a doctor, there really is no way to stop a seizure, so let them have it. Don't shake, hold, or touch your child when she is having a seizure. Just let it run its course. Take her to the doctor. This might be pretty serious.

wow. i'm amazed at what people ask on the internet. honey, go to your pediatrician NOW. your dtr could have had a seizure or it could be a HEART problem (like a hole in the heart or a rhythm problem). it almost looks like a seizure. some of those problems show up in toddlers. and sometimes, the child just dies.

honestly, i think you're a bad mother for not calling the doctor and looking up urgent things on the internet. please make an appointment now.

My husband has epilepsy and i was informed by his dr that when he has a seizure, to rub his feet. It will cut the time of his seizure in half. I wouldn't mess around with that. Has she been drinking plenty of water? I would take her to the er just to make sure she is ok!!

could be , did she urinate her self afterwords, never shake a child while they are having a seizure, you may wont to keep a tongue blade nearby but let the seizure run it's course.
